If you have idea, build it.
I think building whatever comes to mind right away is the best way to know if it is actually good or not. If you leave it midway, you know it was not a good idea. If it was a good idea, you will keep building it.
You can learn anything
You can learn anything, given enough time, resources and effort. Also there are some prerequisites for learning something, but you can learn them as you go.
